Today has so far been spent driving around the area – from Gostwyck Church (which is about 10kms east of Uralla) to Dangars Falls and Dangarsleigh War Memorial (both east of Armidale). Many photos were taken, and I got lost for a little while in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. All is well now though (although the iris of my Baldessa I froze up in the –3* temperatures of dawn – I certainly didn’t like it too much). Here are the shots, I hope you like them!
Above: In and around Gostwyck, near Uralla.
Above: Dangars Falls, Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. It’s a spectacular place to visit, and I recommend that you go there. The walk that goes right over the falls is something else.
Above: Dangarsleigh War Memorial. A privately built memorial for the first world war it’s strange design and secluded location provides that it is a cut above your usual war memorial.
